These cream puffs are available in Sydney’s China town region, you cant miss the queue when you are walking through the restaurant area on a friday/saturday night. These were oh so cheap and good!

Reputably one of the best in Australia for Xiao Long bao (little dragon dumplings), we headed here to put taste to the test. Im a big fan of these dragon dumpling also found in Melbourne at HuTong dumpling bar (14-16 Market Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000) and these rival restaurants always seem to pop up in reviews and discussions about “best dumplings” in Australia. Dint Tai Fung has a very open dining area, with lots of hustle and bustle and if you are not early in the queue or you havent booked, theres not much chance of a table. If they are aiming to create a very busy “dim sum” feel to it i think they are pretty much there.
Great restaurant to eat socially and enjoy good food in the busy city centre, also family friendly and service is not bad. They even had a little handbag storage system next to our table which is quite secure and out of the way. Seems like very well thought out restaurant and very true to the way they have presented themselves. Simple foods, simple layout, but still draws in quite a crowd by building a great reputation by this.

We came to this place as part of an organised wine tour. A set menu was devised for all the tour groups coming through on that day which had choice of two dishes. It was spring time so the used of spring produce would have been advantageous, but i have to say the chef’s here are pretty safe with their menus. Because of the busy atmosphere the staff obviously had their hands full, even getting our wine tasting out of the way seemed quite rushed and not really up for much of conversation about their wines.
